City slickers!

I love watching the "reality" show Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive. The one and only reason I enjoy that show is the (alleged) person, Fabian Basabe. Other than sounding like an Iron Chef ingredient, he is, bar none, the most unabashed caricature of a spoiled rich kid that I have ever witnessed.

Even my former favorite, Chet Williams-Smythe (not his real name, it's a long story), is a pale imitation of this guy. I've made a game of counting how many seconds he can be on-screen before I get the nearly uncontrollable urge to make a nasty remark; unfortunately, I'm usually too busy thinking of nasty remarks to make to remember to keep track of the time. I think the highest I've got is... uh... zero seconds. Watch a few episodes, it's worth it. If a proletariat uprising comes to the States, it'll be because of people like this guy.

  1. Hahaha – he really does sound like a Iron Chef ingredient! Perfect description. We have the last IC America saved – do you want to watch it with us?

  2. Hm… possibly. Who’s competing / what’s the ingredient? The new “Chairman” bugs the hell out of me, he’s so hammy.

He was great in those B- and C-list fighting flicks, though.

  3. Hmmm…you mock them and yet you also live similar lives to these rich bourgeois. Do you not drink wine laughing and mocking those around you for being inferior? Do you not drive around in your fancy “car”. The beggar on the streets of Zhizihing of the Kungtoing provence spit on you!! I, on the otherhand, will be one of the few englightened to lead the proletariat to victory! Viva la revolucion!!

  4. If Zhizihing and Kungtoing provences are supposed to be in China, those guys can spit like nobody’s business… that’s a marketable skill!

    Fo’ REAL, real.

  5. Are you making fun of them? Is that it? You’re making fun of poor people? No wonder you’re a hardcore right wing republican.

  6. You suck. Stop deleting posts.

  7. Fabian should be the U.S. ambassador to Britain.
